Caister Roma FC  now known as Caister FC Youth, was formed in 1996, after branching away from Caister Utd, which still exists  as a senior Football Club, recently however both the adult's and the youth sides have combined to create what is now known as "Caister FC. 

 Initially there were eight boys teams, a bare minimum of equipment,  limited volunteer support and coaches with no formal qualifications. The U13's team from this period went on to be very successful winning league and cup competitions through to u16 level. However after the initial success period, the future of the club looked bleak, as they were only represented by four teams. 

In the 2002-2003 season the club grew , we saw the introduction of six new teams at U7 U8 and U9 level, which has given the club a strong foundation for it's development in the future . Presently over 100 children play football for Caister FC Youth in the Norfolk and Suffolk youth league.. 

The current age groups run form U7 through to U16 level.

The equipment is improving on a regular basis, and the facilities on the King George V playing field are recently underwent a brand new construction, giving state of the art changing facilties for all home and visiting teams. There is also has a flood lit training area.

The underlying aim of the club was to achieve FA Charter Standard which was granted in the 2004-2005 season.
